The yearly Comic Artists Seminar that is organised in by the agency Contours from Hamburg in cooperation with the Kulturprojektbüro of the City of Erlangen (organizer of the Erlangen International Comic Salon) will take place for the 25th time this year. As in the past years, the works of the two previous seminars will be presented in an exhibition. The selected participants, who must have previous drawing experience, receive a certain topic a few weeks before the seminar. During the seminar (28 May to 2 June 2010) they work on a prepared story with the help of the lecturers. The work that is created here often offers previews into future comics careers. After all, Isabel Kreitz, Uli Oesterle, Ulf K. and Nicolas Mahler, among others, have taken part in the seminar.
